Buckskin 1/4 Welsh / 1/4 Hanoverian & 1/2 Arabian gelding born 2019
Francisco Fad (aka "Cisco") is bold, athletic, beautiful and flashy! He was bred to be a Dressage Pony, and he is very true to his heritage. Cisco's sire is a very handsome and competitive Dressage Pony, currently competing at 2nd level in Florida. Dragons Lair Cerveza Dinero is a palomino stallion, half Welsh and half Hanoverian, standing 14'0. Cisco's beautiful dam Marjury Francis (Fadjurs Prize x Fadjurz Grace by Fadjurs Prize) is one of only two double Fadjurs Prize daughters, born & bred at Jack Tone Ranch. Marjury Francis' tail female is to Saki, and she is the product of 3 generations of our favorites -- Fadjurs Prize, Marjianazemtu, Fadjurz Grace and Fadjurs Joi, -- to Fadjur & Saki themselves.
Cisco has a remarkable show record already in the Arabian Sport Horse in hand competitions, which are judged on conformation, movement & manners. As a young horse, he is eligible to compete in few classes, and he has done remarkably well! As a yearling, he won his age 2 & under class and was 2nd in the all ages (amateur to show) class -- he was not allowed to enter the Championships as a yearling, and this was the only show he could enter in 2020 due to the pandemic.
In 2021, Cisco was shown in two shows -- the Pacific Slopes Championships (covering all of the western U.S. from Arizona to British Columbia) and the Region 3 Championships (Northern California & Nevada). Two year olds were the youngest horses allowed to compete in the Championships, and Cisco did great! He won Reserve Champion in both open and Amateur to Handle classes at the Pacific Slopes Championships, and he won Reserve Champion Region 3 Open and placed 3rd (Top 5) in the Region 3 Amateur to Handle class!
We are so pleased with Cisco's show record so far, and see a VERY bright future for him on the National level. We look forward to seeing rise through the levels in Dressage and sport horse in-hand.
With his exceptional movement, Cisco will excel in any discipline, but he was bred as a Dressage Pony (he's 14'1" currently) and we're very hopeful he can continue on this winning track in dressage.
