September 2, 2009 Jack Tone Ranch was honored by the California Agricultural Heritage Club at the California State Fair for its 125th and 150th Anniversaries of operation in California ~ We are the oldest family-owned horse ranch in continuous operation in the entire Golden State! Jack Tone Ranch was the first honoree at this prestigious event, where Marjory F. Tone received a plaque to commemorate our 150 years of operation as a distinguished agribusiness in California. Lt. Governor John Garamendi also commended Jack Tone Ranch in recognition of its distinguished history, acknowledging 150 years of agricultural excellence in California and contributing significantly to one of this great state's premier industries.

Gran's obituary was published in the Lodi News Sentinel and the Stockton Record on Wednesday, November 16, 2010.
